Blog Topic Proposal

     

       Utah is possibly one of the most diverse states in the U.S. It’s wilderness provides almost everything that an adventurer could want. The Utah wilderness is starting to be uncovered by the recent increase in explorers. With so many different activities to try, Utah is the ultimate outdoor destination. That being said my blog topic is Adventuring in Utah.
   
    I am one of those adventurers. Everything outside appeals to everything in me. There is something about the peace that comes from being outside that is irresistible­­almost addicting. Being away from the chaos of live and getting away from the distraction of cell phone service is an incredibly refreshing experience. From hiking, to biking, to skiing, to 4­wheeling, to rock climbing to hunting, there is so much to be said and so much to be done. I would love to explore and master every facet of outdoor adventuring. These are topics that intrigue me, and make me want to research them more and more.
   
    In my personal opinion, I think there is so much worth in life that people overlook because they are preoccupied with work or their daily entertainment. American’s are so rushed for time and I really think that hobbies are beginning to be neglected and lost. I think that a blog focussed on outdoor hobbies and time away from normal life is so worth the time over the course of this semester. I think if I could inspire even one person to get outside and enjoy the majesty of nature, I would be proud. People need to be able to get away and find peace amongst the craziness of life, and I think that a semester's worth of writing could be a pathway towards that. Also I would love to research and discuss all the different activities that are available to me. So that in the future, I could be more knowledgeable about those.
   
     While I am an outdoor enthusiast. I have never really done a large amount of research on any outdoor activities. I am aware of the basics because of my experiences, but my writing off the bat would be un­informed and shallow. So basically I don’t know nearly as much as I could. I could get more information from the following websites:

    So in conclusion, I would like to choose Adventuring in Utah as my blog topic. I think that this is a topic that applies to me very well, and it could apply to many others as well.
